Fortune 200 healthcare company Abbott Laboratories has appointed Cheshire-based business, Gemini International, as one of only 3 agencies in their new Meetings and Events Network, supporting the delivery of their international events programme for the next three years.

Abbott Laboratories is a broad-based healthcare company that discovers, develops, manufactures and markets products and services that span the continuum of care – from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and cure.  

The appointment follows a competitive procurement process which took place over four months, including a presentation at the Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.


Commenting on the appointment, Christine Kelly, Managing Director of Gemini, said: “We began working with Abbott EPD two years ago following a referral to their events team in Basel. Since then our relationship has gone from strength to strength, working on a number of strategically important events in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
